Sam Wilder

Sam Wilder is a contemporary circus artist specializing in Aerial Fabric and Aerial, Dance, and Chinese Pole. They incorporate drag and burlesque into their work to embody the power and beauty of genuine expression. Originally from East Bay, CA, they spent three years studying at the New England Center for Circus Arts ProTrack Program in Brattleboro, Vermont, and graduated in May of 2022. They returned to the bay area in search of queer community and opportunity.  Now they are back and have performed both burlesque and drag circus acts throughout the bay. As a trans non-binary performer, Sam is passionate about using circus as a means of representation and celebration of the LGBT+ community and dreams of making their big ideas into reality.
